Let us proceed until we are there

“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you“– Jesus (John 15:7)

In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus explains to his followers the need for full adherence to the Father’s designs.

The Master Knew that the human will miss still quite fragile and that numerous struggles surround the individual until he or she learns to establish unity with the Divine.

In spite of this, the lesson of that prayer has been interpreted by most believers as an easy recourse for obtaining celestial aid.

Many request special favors and mechanically recite verbal formulas, Of Course, they cannot receive the immediate satisfaction of their personal whims, because in the fallen or ignorant state, the spirit needs, more than anything else, to learn to submit to the divine designs.

However, there will come a time when prayers are fully answered.

We will accomplish this when we become spiritually in Christ. At that point, whatever er desire will be done because we will have perceived the correct meaning of each thing and the ourpose of each circumstance. We will be able to want and to request in Jesus, and life will present itself in its true characteristics of infinity, eternity renewal and beauty.

Whether incarnate or discarnate, we are still walking toward the Master in order that we may experience glorious union with this love. Until then, let us work and be vigilant in order to understand the divine will always be much soul searching after insanity and remorse brought on by immoderation.

The problem, however, entails a larger explanation.

The mercy that is manifested in God’s justice transcends human comprehension.

The father confers on his ignorant and lost children the right of more trying experiences only after they have been enlightened. Only after they have learned to see with their eternal spirit will life offer them different values. From that moment on, the strength needed to triumph in the great battle of afflictions will be born in their hearts.

In spite of their appearances, frivolous persons and opportunists are usually frail souls, whose withered branches will break at the first blow of the storm. Noble spirits who are able to withstand the torments of the earthly pathway, are well aware of this. Only spiritual enlightenment guarantees success in trials.

No one entrusts the responsibility of a ship encumbered with preocuption and dangers to mere children.
