The Logic of Providence
“After you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle against afflictions.” –
Paul (Heb.10:32)
Usually those who cultivate a sincere faith are considered great suffers in the world.
In Fact, there are those who affirm that they deliberately avoid from religious circles because they fear the contagion of spiritual suffering.
In everyday life, the godless, the ignorant and the frivolous exhibit themselves spectacularly through bizarre shades of outward fantasy.
However, as they approach the heavenly truths before attaining access to the lasting joys of a higher spirituality, they pass through long tunnels of sadness, downheartedness, and taciturnity. This is natural, for there will always be much soul searching after insanity and remorse brought on by immoderation.
The problem, however, entails a larger explanation.
The mercy that is manifested in God’s justice transcend human comprehension.
The father confers on his ignorant and lost children the right of more trying experiences only after they have been enlightened. Only after they have learned to see with their eternal spirit will life offer them different values. From that moment on, the strength needed to triumph in the great battle of afflictions will be born in their hearts.
In spite of their appearances, frivolous persons and opportunists are usually frail souls, whose withered branches will break at the first blow of the storm. Noble spirits, who are able to withstand the torments of the earthly pathway, are well aware of this. Only spiritual enlightenment guarantees success in trials.
No one entrusts the responsibility of a ship encumbered with preoccupations and dangers to mere children.
