In Jesus’ Presence
“And whatever you do, do it with all your heart, as for the Lord and not
for men.” Paul (Col.3:25)
Among humans beings, the understanding of the work of Christ will in the future reach the required scope for the glorification of the One who has watched over us closely from the very first day, illuminating our path with the Divine Light.
If learned persons would ask themselves what the essential reason for their activities on earth is, they would always find in their inner sanctuary vast horizons for conclusions of infinite value.
For whom have they been working all this time?
To whom have they offered the fruit of their daily work?
We do not wish to demean respectable position of countries, organization, family, or the individual; however, we cannot fail to recognize their position of relativity in time. As they roll on, borders change, laws evolve, the household group is renewed and humankind progresses toward higher and higher destinies.
Everything that represents personal effort has been accomplished through individuals’ own initiative in the filed of Christ’s permanent work. Whatever we have accomplished through the centuries constitutes either a benefit or an offense to ourselves in the work that belongs to the Lord and not to us. Law makers and governed people pass through time with the baggage that is their own, and Jesus remains in order to evaluate the advantage or disadvantage of the cooperation of each one of them in the divine service of evolution and improvement.
Administration and obedience, the responsibility of leading and following, are only subdivisions of the stewardship conferred by the Lord on his wards.
Dignifies work is a holy opportunity. With the circles of service, the attitude assumed by men and women will either honor or dishonor their immortal personality in the presence of Jesus Christ.
